Head Engineer\Head Producer\Owner

I worked out of a studio suit built specifically for me complete with Pro Tools HD. I worked with high end clients and credited artists in the Dallas\Texas music\film industry.

Here I ran recording sessions, was in charge of all mixing\editing, mastered songs and albums, did post work and editing, and was responsible for the music\production behind a great deal of work and music.

I also took part in internet marketing work and managed four different networking sites.

Jun 2007-Feb 2009 SOUNDPHILES.COM , DALLAS, TX

Engineer\Studio Manager

I ran recording sessions on a daily basis, maintained the equipment, cleaned the facility daily, and answered three telephone lines. I handed out jobs and assignments to all interns and employees and helped them in their tasks daily.

I engineered mixing sessions without assistance. Worked with vocalists, mic setup for live bands, recorded live bands, and even worked with producers to transfer MIDI files into audio sessions to be ready for mixing. Was in charge of and did any and all editing in Pro Tools.

I worked on a number of post-production projects here that included sound design, ADR, and post editing for an array of different video projects.

I scheduled appointments with new or interested clients. Gave tours of the facility to potential clients or artist.

March 2006-March 2007 SWINTOWN STUDIOS, DALLAS, TX

Assistant Engineer\ Part-time Manager

Maintained the studios appearance and equipment daily. Organized files and answered phones part time.

Assisted the Head Engineer in recording/mixing sessions and his other day to day tasks. Did the bulk of any editing for the Head Engineer. Ran small errands and did other odd jobs for the Head Engineer.

Engineered recording sessions for non VIP and new clients regularly. Gave tours of the facility to potential clients and artists regularly.

August 2005-January 2006 E WORLD, CARROLTON, TX

Studio Intern

I did day to day cleaning and ran errands for the studio manager. I assisted the house engineer in recording sessions, small editing, and did mic setup in drum and guitar rooms.

Learned the day to day functions of a studio and how to work recording sessions with clients.
